Enrichment Activities.

Today was so fun :D

We had finacial literacy. Sounded boring enuff. BUT. It was really fun. We got to play a game where we had a so called "real life " situation. We were 25 years old wif a job and starting amt of 15k. We had untill 33 years old. Every year we had a yearly cashflow. So we could invest in poperty and buy stocks and stuff. Main thing is to earn money. Duh. There were stocks to buy and they created a stock market wif three stocks. :P I lost 15k worth of one kind of stock because the stupid stock went bankrupt. :S I was screaming. Actually. EVERYONE was screaming. :P All those who didnt sell their shares b4 it crashed that is.

I was so happy. I had nearly3 mil at 33 years old. *jumps around* But much thanks to landed propety buyers. WEll. If only i could make that much money in real life. :P This is a game and the trainers are like playing god to the economy,deciding stuff that happens. Oh in real life though the cashflow may not be so stable and may fluctuate depending on other factors, which obviously can't be encorporated into the game, so, this game is kinda surreal :) But it was still fun. :P

Then we had CIP. We had to go around collecting old newspapers and clothing at Bishan. At first i felt abit awkward. And the floor that i first did wif two other people, 13th floor, had no one. We knocked on all four doors and no one answered. We did 13th floor to 9th floor. Collected quite alot of newspapers. :D Met two nice people :D One guy gave us three cold evian mineral water bottles :D And another lady gave us three cans of jia jia liang teh. :D Of course they gave us a whole bunch of newspapers.

WEll. honestly i dont relly like the drink but i drank it anyways.. needed sth cold. Sum, one of my group members, gave it to the chinese scholar to drink. heh. Eileen was so afraid of dogs and jumped when the dogs barked frm behind the doors.

HAHA. One funny thing that happened. We had one more floor to cover and since a few were already dwnstairs, we decided to send some stuff down wif Eileen. Funny thing was, we were loading the newspapers and plastic bags into the lift and just as we walked out to load summore, the lift closed, ALONG WITH ALL OUR NEWSPAPERS AND PLASTIC BAGS AND NO ONE INSIDE. LOL. we were screaming. The lift carried our plastic bags and newspapers all the way up to the 21st floor. Lucky for us, it came dwn and we were relieved to find that there was no one inside :P and the newspapers and plastic bags weren't missing.

Haha. I pitied the poor soul on the 21st floor who must have been bewildered with the newspapers and plastic bags in the lift . hee. :D
